“WORKING HARD” by Lanzarote-based singer-songwriter Mandy Shadow explores the demanding reality of repetitive factory life and the human cost of burnout. Featured as Track 10 on the album “Love & Emotion” and produced by WLK, the song shines a light on workers who perform monotonous labor day after day while striving to meet perfection in production.
The song carries a deeply personal connection for WLK, who composed it after working different shifts at a huge company in Germany. His passion for electronic music began in the late 1970s and early 1980s, when he purchased an analog synthesizer and electronic organ and spent five years creating experimental music with a band in his garage.
Today, that passion continues through a shared recording studio and creative partnership. Recorded at home Studio Sieben, “WORKING HARD” combines personal experience with a powerful reflection on modern working life.
