Hip Hop Saves Lives presents “ABILITY,” the powerful lead single for the “I’M JUST LIKE YOU” global campaign, which shines a spotlight on the incredible talents of people with disabilities. This inspiring track brings together a unique blend of voices and stories, recorded in Sierra Leone and featuring a diverse lineup of artists.
“ABILITY” includes the dynamic rap duo 50 Don and Prophet, both Polio survivors, who deliver verses full of resilience and strength. Grammy-nominated artist Muzi of Jabali Afrika, known for his soulful voice, also joins the track, adding a rich, melodic layer. Freetown’s very own Swadu (Tasha), a celebrated rapper, infuses the song with local pride and flair. The BKLN Globetrotter, Chad Harper, founder of Hip Hop Saves Lives, not only contributes to the track but also produces it, with Kunta Official Beats from Kenya handling the mix and master. “ABILITY” is more than just a song; it’s a movement.
