Kristi took guitar lessons, performed in local bands, and worked in the music industry as she grew up in Charleston. But then she was suddenly diagnosed with a chronic lung disease that rendered her voice unusable, and her life took a surprising turn. Kristi has been waiting for a double lung transplant for quite some time, but that hasn’t stopped her from pursuing her passion for music. She continues to compose and record new music despite facing many challenges along the way.
